In the process of researching my Cometography book series for Cambridge University Press I ran across many biographies of comet discoverers and observers throughout history. Although I had intended to include these in some sort of supplement to Cometography, I have instead decided to place them on the web. As with other aspects of this site, this will be a "work in progress" as I plan to continue adding biographies of both past and contemporary "comet people" as I get a chance to write them.
