I love photography. Photography grew out of my love of astronomy. Beginning with visual observing in 1965, I began experimenting with photographing the night sky around 1969. My first camera was an old Kodak Brownie with 620 film. After playing around with this camera, I discovered I could keep the shutter open for time exposures and worked with this for a few years. I quickly wanted to do more and stepped into 35mm photography in 1971. Now that I had a good camera, I began taking it on vacations with my parents and sister as we traveled around the United States. I switched to digital SLRs in 2004.
