I drove to St. Louis to shoot some black & white film one day in 1980. Although I was concentrating on the Arch, I decided to take a helicopter ride and took this picture of Busch Stadium (II). (1980)

Coming back from a trip to California, the plane we were flying in flew several miles east of the airport and then perfectly banked with St. Louis out my window until we were traveling westward. A long sweeping curve. I was able to take a total of 25 photographs of the city from the west, south, east, and north. I even switched lenses a couple of times to zoom in on certain buildings and landmarks. (2008)

The Runner sculpture sits in the fountains of Kiener Plaza on October 14, 2010. The fountains are red in celebration of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team being in the National League playoffs. The Courthouse is behind the statue and the Arch is behind that. (2010)
